Overpriced haircuts, but great service

I was referred to Derby by a coworker who rarely ever gets her hair cut. When she said her experience at Derby was amazing, I had to try it. I have received three hair cuts there, but have since decided that no matter how nice everyone is there, $75 for a hair cut is ridiculous. The only thing they do differently at Derby is massage your head for two minutes before shampooing. Frankly, it's not worth $40 extra dollars of what I've been paying for those two minutes. I like the fact that you can get an appt. on Sundays when most salons are closed and I haven't been disappointed w/ a hair cut I've received there. But, I'm hesitant to go back knowing that I can get a comparable hair cut for a much lower price. The other thing to note is the prices go up frequently there. So, just about the time you get used to paying a certain price it goes up. Parking is also a challenge.
